Police have stated that Brooklyn may have travelled to either Birmingham or Derby. The appeal is being shared widely across social media and local news outlets to reach as many people as possible in those areas.

In a statement, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: "Can you help us find a missing teenage girl from Winchester? Brooklyn, age 14, was last seen near the Winchester Avenue area at 11pm last night. Brooklyn may have travelled to the Birmingham or Derby area."

The force has provided a specific incident number for anyone with information. They are urging the public to call 999 immediately if they believe they have seen Brooklyn since she went missing.

The police appeal continued: "She is described as: white, approximately 5ft 4in tall, slim build, with long dark brown hair, possibly wearing a tracksuit.
