Nottingham city centre has been sealed off by police following reports that a young woman was raped. Lace Market Square and Adams Walk in Nottingham have been cordoned off as investigations continue.
Police Investigation Underway
Nottinghamshire Police received the report in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 13. Adams Walk, which leads up to Fletcher Gate, has also been taped off by officers.
The force confirmed that the victim is being supported by local police. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.46am on Saturday to the Adams Walk area of Nottingham city centre after reports that a young woman had been raped. She is being supported by officers and investigations are ongoing."
