Tragic Nightclub Stabbing in Peckham Leaves One Dead, Two Fighting for Life
A man has been stabbed to death outside a nightclub in Peckham in what police are describing as a deeply tragic incident. The 26-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene on Ruby Street, with his next-of-kin being informed.
Two other victims, both in their 20s, were also found injured at the location and are currently fighting for their lives in hospital. The precise nature of their injuries has not been disclosed by authorities at this time.
Police Investigation and Arrests
The assault occurred just before 4am on Monday, April 6, outside a busy nightclub in the Peckham area. In response, police have arrested four men—aged 18 and three aged 24—on suspicion of murder. All four remain in custody as of Monday afternoon while the investigation continues.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John stated: "This is a deeply tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the victim’s family during this difficult time. We have already arrested four men and our investigation continues at pace."

Authorities have acknowledged the concern this violent event will cause within the local community and have assured residents of an increased police presence throughout the day. DCI John added: "We are aware of the concern that this will cause the local community and those in the area will notice an increased police presence throughout the day. This assault occurred outside a busy nightclub, and we’d encourage anyone who has any information, dashcam or mobile phone footage which could support the investigation to contact us."
