Detectives have released a CCTV image of a person they wish to identify following a violent assault in Wolverhampton city centre. The victim, a man, was punched in the face at the junction of North Street and Paternoster Row, sustaining cuts to his nose and bruising around his eye.
Details of the Attack
The incident occurred at approximately 3pm on Thursday, February 5. West Midlands Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the individual captured on CCTV, who is believed to have information about the assault.
Police Statement
A force spokesperson said: "Can you tell us who this is? We're investigating after a man was assaulted in Wolverhampton at the junction of North Street and Paternoster Row. He was punched in the face causing a cut to his nose and bruising to his eye at around 3pm on Thursday, February 5."
Officers have been conducting enquiries, and although the image is somewhat blurred, they are keen to speak to the man pictured. The suspect was wearing a hoodie and joggers at the time of the incident.
