Police have launched a public appeal for information following a series of brazen thefts from shops in the Black Country, where two full shopping trolleys were among the items stolen.
CCTV Image Released in Investigation
West Midlands Police have shared a CCTV image of a man and a woman they urgently wish to speak to in connection with the incidents. A force spokesperson stated that the pair may hold vital information about the thefts and have asked the public for help in identifying them.
Details of the Two Incidents
The investigation centres on two separate thefts that occurred within a week of each other in the Coseley area of Dudley. The first incident took place at a store on Bourne Street, Coseley, at around 8.25pm on Wednesday, 27 November.
The second, more audacious theft occurred just one week later. On Wednesday, 4 December, at approximately 5.40pm, two fully loaded shopping trolleys were taken from a store on Castle Street in Coseley.
