Police flooded a Birmingham road after violence broke out, leaving one person with a head injury.
Incident Details
West Midlands Police were called to Reginald Road in Alum Rock shortly after 10pm on Monday, May 18. The road was closed as officers spoke to several individuals at the scene.
Paramedics treated a patient for a minor head injury, but the individual declined hospital treatment and was discharged at the scene.
Police Statement
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a disorder in Reginald Road, Alum Rock, shortly after 10pm yesterday. Officers attended and spoke to several people who were at the scene. One person received a minor head injury, but this was not life-threatening or life-changing."
Ambulance Service Response
West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called by the police to reports of an assault on Reginald Road, Saltley, Birmingham at 10.06pm last night. One ambulance attended. One patient was injured but declined hospital treatment and was discharged on scene."
