Warwickshire Police have launched an urgent appeal for information regarding the disappearance of a 48-year-old woman from the Midlands, with a silver Peugeot 206 believed to be critical to the investigation. The woman, named Katie, was reported missing on Monday, February 23, and authorities are increasingly concerned for her safety.

Katie, who is described as having blonde hair and wearing glasses, is known to have connections to several areas including Nuneaton, Hartshill, Kingsbury, and Skegness. The investigation, now handled by Warwickshire Police's major crime team, has identified a silver Peugeot 206 with registration number BT54 LLJ as a key element in the case.
The vehicle was last spotted on the A444 on January 13 and has not been seen since. Police emphasize that this car could provide vital clues to understanding Katie's disappearance and urge anyone with sightings or information to come forward immediately.
Arrest Made in Connection with the Case
In a significant development, a 49-year-old man from Nuneaton has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to Katie's disappearance. He remains in police custody as inquiries continue. Detective Inspector Gareth Unett stated, "Given the length of time that has passed since Katie was last seen, we're considering the possibility that sadly, she may have come to harm."
The detective added, "The silver Peugeot is a critical piece of the puzzle, and we would urge anyone who thinks they have seen the vehicle or who may know anything about Katie's disappearance to contact us as soon as possible."
