Nottinghamshire Police have issued a public appeal for two people to come forward who may hold crucial evidence in the search for Holly, a woman missing from the Midlands for nine days. Officers believe the pair, captured on CCTV, could have come across items that may assist in locating her.
Holly was last seen on Friday 4 September at approximately 1.30pm in the Mapperley area of Nottingham. The force has released images of the two individuals, stressing they are treated as witnesses, not suspects, and are not in any trouble.
CCTV review prompts appeal
The appeal follows a review of CCTV footage from the area. Police state they "believe the people shown in these images may have come across items of evidential value." The force is urging the individuals, or anyone who recognises them, to make contact.
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould said: "We remain concerned for Holly's welfare and believe the people shown in these images could be important witnesses. They are not in any trouble, but we are keen to speak with them as they may be able to assist our enquiries and help us locate Holly."
Description of Holly
Holly is described as 5ft 7ins tall with curly blonde and pink hair worn in a ponytail. She has piercings in her cheeks and nose, and tattoos on her arms and legs. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black leggings, and carrying a black rucksack, as shown in images released by police.
Holly is known to frequent Nottingham City Centre. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 509 of Saturday 5th September 2026.
