Racially Aggravated Harassment Probe After Supermarket Incident

West Midlands Police are investigating an alleged racially aggravated harassment incident at a supermarket in Brierley Hill. The force said that on 5 May at around 4:50pm, a man attempted to steal items from a shop on Sandringham Way, Brierley Hill, and when approached by a staff member, shouted racial abuse at them.

No arrests have been made, and inquiries are ongoing. Police have released an image of a man they wish to trace in connection with the incident.

In a statement, police said: "Do you recognise this man? We would like to speak to him following an attempted theft from a supermarket where a staff member suffered racially aggravated harassment."
