Sainsbury's Staff Threatened in Terrifying Derby Robbery by Moped Duo
Police are urgently hunting for two men involved in a frightening robbery at a Sainsbury's supermarket in Derby, where staff were threatened during a late-night incident.
According to Derbyshire Constabulary, the robbery occurred at approximately 11pm on Wednesday, April 1, at the Sainsbury's location on Morley Street in Derby. Two suspects arrived at the store on a moped, with one entering the premises and confronting employees.
Details of the Robbery and Suspect Description
The individual who entered the store threatened staff members, who then handed over a small amount of cash. The robber quickly exited, rejoined his accomplice on the pillion seat of the moped, and both fled the scene.
Authorities have released a description of the suspect who entered the store. He is described as being between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall, with a pale complexion and a bony facial structure. Notably, he had a tattoo on his left hand.
