Detectives in Solihull are urgently seeking a man on a bicycle who has been snatching expensive jewellery from residents. The suspect, wearing a ski mask and sunglasses, reportedly pulled a gold chain from a woman's neck before fleeing on his bike.
Incident Details
The theft occurred on Chelmsley Road at approximately 9am on Monday, April 20. West Midlands Police have released CCTV images of the suspect in hopes of identifying him.
Suspect Description
Officers describe the man as black, aged in his 20s, and wearing a padded jacket, ski mask, and sunglasses. He is believed to have approached members of the public on his bike before snatching their jewellery.
A police spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify this person? We want to speak with them after we received reports of a man riding a bike and speaking with members of the public before snatching jewellery. In one incident, on Chelmsley Road, at around 9am on April 20, a man matching the description reportedly snatched a gold chain from a woman's neck before riding away."
