A man from Solihull has been charged with a series of serious offences after police officers recovered a knife and a quantity of Class A drugs during a targeted operation in Rubery.
Multiple Charges Following Police Stop
Reo Seivwright, aged 28 and from the Solihull area, has been formally charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. In addition to this primary charge, he faces further allegations including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, dangerous driving, and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Operation Details and Recovery
The charges stem from a joint operation conducted yesterday morning (February 4) by the specialised County Lines Taskforce and Force Traffic teams. Officers stopped a vehicle on Rubery Lane shortly after 11am, leading to the discovery and seizure of evidence.
During the search, police recovered a significant quantity of Class A drugs, a mobile phone, and a locking knife from the vehicle. Seivwright was subsequently arrested and remanded in custody, with his first court appearance scheduled for today at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.
