Solihull's 'Most Wanted' Criminal Arrested in Police Operation
Solihull's 'Most Wanted' Criminal Arrested

Police in Solihull have successfully apprehended one of the area's most sought-after criminals during a targeted police operation.

Dual Arrests in Proactive Operation

Over a two-day period, officers from the Smith's Wood, Kingshurst & Castle Bromwich policing team made two significant arrests. The first individual was detained on suspicion of Outraging Public Decency following reports of lewd conduct in a public space.

The second arrest was a major breakthrough, capturing one of Solihull's 'most wanted' criminals. The force confirmed that this individual was arrested after being recalled to prison.

Continued Proactive Patrols and Stop-Searches

This week, the local police force has maintained its proactive patrols across the community. This sustained effort resulted in officers conducting nine stop searches aimed at preventing nuisance behaviour.

According to an official statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, two of these searches were initiated after individuals were spotted spray painting a wall. These stops led to the discovery of items intended to cause criminal damage.

The remaining seven stop searches were conducted in areas identified as hotspots for drug use and were related to drug offences.

Police Statement and Community Impact

The local force publicly announced the results of their recent work on social media, detailing the arrests and the ongoing patrols. This activity forms part of a broader strategy to address community safety concerns and target persistent offenders in the Solihull area.

The arrest of a 'most wanted' individual, who was already wanted for a breach of his prison release conditions, represents a significant success for the police team and is expected to have a positive impact on local community safety.
