A family celebration descended into terror when a mass shooting erupted at a children's birthday party in Stockton, northern California.
Chaos at a Family Gathering
The horrific incident took place just before 6 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025. A family was gathered inside a banquet hall for a child's birthday party when gunfire broke out.
The attack resulted in four people being killed and a further 14 individuals sustaining gunshot injuries. The victims included both children and adults who were struck by the gunfire.
Authorities have not yet released the identities or specific conditions of the deceased and injured victims as they work to notify next of kin.
Investigation Underway for Targeted Attack
The San Joaquin County Sheriff's office has indicated that they believe this may have been a "targeted incident." Information remains limited in the early stages of the investigation.
