Three men have been arrested in connection with a violent disorder in Walsall, West Midlands Police have confirmed.
Incident Details
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Queen Mary Street in the Palfrey area at approximately 6:30 PM on Monday, May 11. Following swift inquiries, a vehicle was stopped nearby, leading to the arrest of three individuals on suspicion of firearms offences.
Police Response
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Three men have been arrested in connection with violent disorder in Walsall. We were called to reports of disorder on Queen Mary Street at around 6:30pm yesterday. Officers carried out quick-time enquiries and stopped a vehicle nearby and arrested three men on suspicion of firearms offences. They remain in custody for questioning."
The force added that a scene remains in place, and officers will be conducting patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the community.
