The 19-year-old previously pleaded guilty to attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
James Sheriff, 47, of Masons Way, Solihull, and Carl Gamble, 29, of no fixed address, were both found guilty of wounding, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and attempted robbery. They will be sentenced in July.
Police comment on the attack
Det Con Zac Green, from West Midlands Police's major crime unit, said: 'This was a nonsensical violent attack in the middle of a street where the consequences could have been far worse. It is extremely fortunate he was not killed at the hands of these men, although he will have to live with what happened that night for the rest of his life. These men will now quite rightly lose their freedom, and it shows the consequences of being armed and using a weapon.'
