A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed the arrests, stating, "We have arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder in Solihull. An investigation was launched after a man was found injured in Solihull yesterday morning. We were called to Heathmere Drive shortly before 5am after the man was found with a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital where he remains."

West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to the incident at 4.44am, dispatching an ambulance and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic. Upon arrival, crews treated the man for his injuries before conveying him to hospital. The spokesperson added, "On arrival, crews found a man who they treated for potentially life-changing injuries before he was conveyed to hospital."
