Urgent Police Appeal Launched for Missing Woman
Thames Valley Police have issued an urgent public appeal to help locate a 33-year-old woman reported missing from Buckinghamshire. Rebecca was last seen at approximately 11pm on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, in the Middlebrook Road area of High Wycombe.
Officers have expressed significant and growing concern for her safety and wellbeing. The circumstances of her disappearance are particularly worrying as she was not dressed for the winter weather at the time she vanished.
Description and Known Haunts
Rebecca is described as white, slim, and approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall. When she was last seen, she was wearing distinctive sleepwear: grey and red chequered pyjama bottoms and a grey and white long-sleeved top.
Police have indicated that she is known to frequent the Downley and Polmer Hill areas of High Wycombe. This information is being used to focus search efforts, but authorities are appealing for sightings from across the wider community.
Community Rallies in Search Effort
Inspector Fred Ruffle, the investigating officer, stated: "We are increasingly concerned for Rebecca's safety and urge anyone who may have seen her or who has information regarding her whereabouts to contact us immediately."
The local community has already begun to assist, with the police appeal being shared hundreds of times across various social media platforms. This digital effort aims to widen the reach of the search and generate new leads for officers to follow.
Anyone who sees Rebecca is asked to call 999 without delay. Those with any other information that could assist the investigation should contact Thames Valley Police through non-emergency channels, quoting the unique reference number: 43250640595.
