A woman was rushed to hospital this morning after her car overturned in a two-vehicle collision on Chester Road, Birmingham.
Emergency Response
Emergency services were called to the scene near the Tyburn House island at Pype Hayes just before 7.25am on Friday, June 12. The woman was found trapped inside her overturned vehicle.
Ambulance crews treated her for injuries that were not considered serious. She was then transported to Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield for further assessment.
Ambulance Statement
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a two-car collision on Chester Road at 7.24am. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman."
"She was helped out of her car, which had overturned, by fire service colleagues. Ambulance staff then treated her for injuries not believed to be serious before taking her to Good Hope Hospital for further assessment."
