"It's about connecting people who live in surrounding areas of the city," Liyana explained to BirminghamLive. "You find people nearby you get along with, make new friends to learn more about Islam with, visit mosques together, and share Iftar meals."
She emphasized how the gatherings help create a supportive circle for individuals at various stages of their Islamic journey, recalling her own initial challenges as a new Muslim.

Liyana bravely shared that when she first became a Muslim, she often felt overwhelmed by mistakes, but the support from those around her was crucial.
