Baddesley Clinton, a Tudor timber-framed manor house, opens for free on Sunday September 13 from 9am to 5pm. The house was home to the Ferrers family for 500 years and served as a sanctuary for persecuted Catholics during the 1590s, with secret hiding places used to evade priest hunters.
