Iceland has confirmed a 10 per cent in-store discount for shoppers aged over 60, available every Tuesday. The supermarket chain, which operates stores in Birmingham and across the UK, has clarified the rules for the ongoing promotion.
How to Claim the Discount
Customers must scan their registered Bonus Club app or card at checkout and show accepted identification to receive the 10 per cent discount. Accepted ID includes a Senior Bus Pass, Driving Licence, Senior Railcard, or Freedom Pass. There is no minimum spend required.
Additional Bonus Club Benefits
In addition to the discount, Bonus Club members who scan their app or card at checkout are automatically entered into a weekly draw to win their entire shopping basket or trolley, up to the value of £100, completely free. One lucky winner across the UK is selected at random each week for the rest of the year.
Terms and Conditions
Iceland's terms state that any customer aged 60 years or over with a registered Bonus Card and valid ID can receive the 10 per cent discount on qualifying goods purchased in-store at participating Iceland or The Food Warehouse stores. The discount is available only on Tuesdays during store opening hours.
Valid proof of identification must be shown at the point of purchase. The discount cannot be used online or at The Range or Swift stores. Due to Minimum Unit Pricing, the discount cannot be applied to alcohol purchases in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or Wales.
Exclusions include carrier bags, Bonus Card savings, and selected in-store promotions. The over-60s discount cannot be combined with any other discount. Bulk purchases of six or more of any single product do not qualify, and goods are strictly not for resale. The discount applies to one purchase per single transaction.
Iceland reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, or temporarily suspend the discount at any time. Redeeming the discount constitutes acceptance of the terms. The offer is available across mainland UK and Northern Ireland. All products are subject to availability, and Iceland may amend terms at any time.
