West Bromwich Stabbing Victim Also Had Phone Stolen

A man in his 20s was seriously injured in a stabbing on Marsh Lane, West Bromwich, on Monday evening (June 22). During the attack, the victim also had his mobile phone stolen.

Police Investigation Underway

West Midlands Police sealed off a section of Marsh Lane after the incident, which was reported at around 5pm. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. A force spokesperson said: "We were called to Marsh Lane, West Bromwich at around 5pm yesterday after a man in his 20s was stabbed. The man went to the hospital for treatment, and thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. His phone was also stolen during the incident."

Ambulance Response

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance crew from Lyndon in West Bromwich treated the man at the scene before he was conveyed to hospital. A spokesperson added: "At 5.18pm, an ambulance crew from Lyndon in West Bromwich treated a man with serious injuries following a suspected stabbing. A paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor with critical care paramedic were also sent to the scene. The patient was conveyed to hospital."
