Former Apprentice Star Luisa Zissman Issues Statement After Leaving Dog in Dubai
Former Apprentice star and influencer Luisa Zissman has released a public statement after leaving her beloved toy poodle, Crumble, behind in Dubai. The 38-year-old reality TV personality is now urgently trying to arrange a private jet to bring her pet to the United Kingdom.
Fleeing Amid Regional Tensions
Zissman returned to her countryside mansion in the UK after fleeing Dubai due to recent missile and drone attacks from Iran targeting the United Arab Emirates. She explained that she came back with her children, who are on school holidays, and intended to bring Crumble as well.
However, her plans have hit a significant snag. She has been attempting to organize a private jet flight for the dog but has faced repeated disappointments. In a message to her followers, Zissman stated, "No PJ for Crumble just been let down (again). He's OK at the moment and safe and being cared for but I really want him with me."
A Beloved Pet and Social Media Presence
Luisa introduced Crumble to her Instagram followers in January, writing enthusiastically, "Life with the cutest baby ever. I'm obsessed with him!" Her social media feed regularly features photographs and videos of the pup, including clips of her preparing his meals.
She has described Crumble as a fussy eater, noting, "He is such a fussy dog! he doesn't like dog food wet or dry. I read just meat isn't good for them so sneaking in some veg and I blended his kibble."
Controversial Advocacy for Dubai
The influencer has been among the vocal social media figures championing Dubai as a residence, previously calling it the "safest country in the world" despite the ongoing security threats. She maintained this was a genuine belief, not paid promotion.
In a caption addressing speculation, she shared, "The internet thinks Dubai is paying you to post content. Reality: You just genuinely love living here and appreciate how they keep everyone safe."
Adjusting to Life Back in the UK
Since returning, Zissman has expressed some discomfort with being back in Britain. In a video filmed in London's Chinatown, she appeared worried and stated, "I'm really paranoid someone is going to steal my phone," adding, "I'm very f****** cold and it's very grey."
She has previously remarked, "It's really sad what's currently happening in Dubai, but trust me the UK is a worse state."
