Love Island's Mica and Samraj Celebrate Major Milestone After Dumping
Love Island's Mica and Samraj Celebrate Major Milestone

Days after being brutally dumped from Love Island just before the final, Mica Harris and Samraj Toor have taken a major step in their relationship by jetting off on their first holiday together. The couple, who coupled up from day one, are now in Barbados, where Mica's aunt, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, resides, and they are celebrating the Crop Over festival.

From Villa to Paradise

Mica and Samraj's journey on Love Island was a rollercoaster, starting as friends before becoming lovers. There were bumps along the way, including Mica friend-zoning Samraj at one point, but they eventually grew stronger. However, in the final week, the ex-Islanders were given the power to vote off a couple, and Mica and Samraj received the most votes, leading to their shock dumping.

Despite the setback, their relationship has flourished outside the villa. The pair have been sharing glimpses of their tropical getaway on social media, with Mica posting a picture of them together with the caption: "Lost in paradise ?️? @samrajtoor." In another Instagram story, Samraj is seen sweetly kissing Mica on the cheek while both wear robes in front of a mirror.

Airplane Mode in Barbados

When Samraj returned to social media, he revealed that his phone had been on "airplane mode" as he enjoyed quality time with Mica. He wrote: "For now, my phone’s on airplane mode while I’m in Barbados with my baddie. ?" The couple had teased the trip during a visit to Capital HQ shortly after being dumped, with Mica joking: "You'll have to wait and find out! No, we're definitely going." She also noted that it was the perfect "time to go" to Barbados as they would be celebrating Crop Over.

Samraj, who had previously called out Mica for dancing on Aidan Murphy in the villa, admitted he was excited to embrace the local culture, saying: "I'm going to embrace and indulge in the local culture."

Celebrating Crop Over

The couple's trip coincides with Crop Over, a vibrant festival in Barbados known for its colorful parades, music, and celebration of the island's heritage. Mica's connection to the island runs deep, with her aunt serving as the Prime Minister, adding a unique dimension to their getaway.

Fans of the couple have been thrilled to see their relationship thrive post-show, and the milestone of their first trip together marks a significant step in their romance. As they continue to share their adventures, it's clear that Mica and Samraj are determined to make their relationship work outside the villa walls.
