Gracechurch shopping centre in Sutton Coldfield is set to host a “beautiful” flower market this Saturday, September 5. The event will run from 10am to 4pm, filling the centre with locally-grown flowers, fresh seasonal blooms, and flower-inspired products from independent traders.
What to expect at the flower market
The market will offer a chance to start the autumn season with bouquets sourced from British growers. Organisers have emphasised their commitment to zero air miles flowers, supporting local production while reducing environmental impact. Visitors can browse stalls from independent traders throughout the day.

Shopping centre's busy weekend continues
The flower market follows a busy period for the centre, which hosted its Vintage Market on the bank holiday Sunday. Locals also took advantage of the sunshine to visit Poms, the recently opened café at the centre.
Poms opened its Sutton Coldfield location in August, offering “expertly crafted cocktails and delicious food to a warm, vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a great evening out.” The café has already attracted attention on social media, with one person writing: “Looks incredible!”
Community and environmental focus
The market aims to combine community charm with environmental awareness. By promoting British-grown blooms, the event supports local growers and reduces the carbon footprint typically associated with imported flowers.
