Four Midlands theme parks for £49 with Merlin Adventure Pass
Four theme parks for £49 with Merlin Adventure Pass

Merlin has launched a limited-time offer that gives families access to four major Midlands attractions for £49 per person. The Midlands Adventure Pass includes entry to Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, SEA LIFE Birmingham and Cadbury World, with bookings available between Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, October 22.

The deal represents a saving of up to 63 per cent compared with booking each attraction separately. Individual tickets for Alton Towers start from £32 per person when booked in advance, or £68 on the door. Warwick Castle one-day entry starts from £26 in advance, Cadbury World tickets start from £18 online, and SEA LIFE Birmingham is available from £19 per person when booked ahead.

How the Midlands Adventure Pass works

Visitors who purchase the pass must book a selected date for their first chosen attraction, then schedule visits to the other three at times of their choosing before the October 22 deadline. All four attractions must be visited by this date, meaning the tickets cannot be used during the Midlands October half-term, which runs from Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30.

A spokesman for Merlin said: "From thrilling rides at Alton Towers Resort and over 1,100 years of history at Warwick Castle, to underwater adventures at SEA LIFE Birmingham and chocolatey fun at Cadbury World, enjoy four of the UK's favourite attractions with one ticket for a limited time only."

Extra value and seasonal events

Visits to Alton Towers during this period coincide with the park's Scarefest, which runs on selected dates between September 26 and November 1. However, the scare attractions are not included in the pass and require an additional payment.

For families seeking further savings, Wowcher is currently offering entry to Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World near Telford at £10 for children, £12 for adults and £34 for a family ticket, with savings of up to 48 per cent. Drayton Manor is another option, with tickets from £27.50 per person.

The Midlands Adventure Pass is available to book now, with over six weeks to visit all four attractions before the offer ends on October 22.
