The centenarian was crowned queen for the day at Parklands Court Care Home, an Advinia Healthcare facility. Her family surprised her with a cardboard cutout of John Wayne, and she also received a congratulatory card from King Charles. 'These 100 years have gone so fast!' Irene said. 'I’ve enjoyed being queen for the day, especially after getting my card from King Charles. It was a lovely surprise to meet “John Wayne” too!'
