Married at First Sight Australia's Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov have shared a major relationship update after getting engaged at Final Vows. The fan-favourite couple, who left the show hand-in-hand, are now living together in Sydney.
Final Vows Proposal
During their Final Vows, Stella expressed her feelings, saying: "You are my partner, my safe space, my adventure and my greatest gift. I came here to look for love, and what I found was far more profound." Filip echoed similar sentiments before surprising Stella by getting down on one knee and proposing. Without hesitation, she kissed him and said: "Yes!"
Moving In Together
Taking to Instagram, Filip announced that the couple now lives together in Stella's hometown of Cronulla, a suburb in Sydney. He made the move from Victoria to be with her. Filip wrote: "New home appreciation post. Grateful for the warm welcome and open arms. New chapter, fresh energy, let's get to work."
Fans flooded the post with support, with one commenting: "It's just great to see two genuine people in love enjoying life." Another said: "Absolutely the most genuine couple on the show, so glad you were oblivious to all the outside noise and concentrated on each other and growing your relationship." Fellow MAFS cast members also shared their excitement, with Bec Zacharia writing "Little Fam Bam" and Scott McCristal adding "Bless."
Stella's Surprise
Stella admitted she initially thought Filip was joking when he proposed, thinking he was doing the shoelace prank. She said: "I thought he was doing the shoelace prank but then I realised he's not and I was like 'OK this is happening!' I burst into tears as per usual. It felt like the world just dissolved."
The couple, who had a very public televised first wedding, hopes to have a more intimate ceremony in Croatia in July, the anniversary month of their MAFS wedding.
