Married At First Sight UK star Reiss has confirmed he resumed his relationship with TOWIE ex-girlfriend Dani Imbert shortly after his marriage to Leisha ended in November 2025.
The Post-Show Reconciliation
Speaking in a candid post-show interview, Reiss disclosed that Dani Imbert contacted him via FaceTime immediately after his separation from MAFS wife Leisha was confirmed. The former intruder couple had experienced a turbulent journey on the E4 reality show, yet managed to reach final vows before their relationship ultimately collapsed weeks later.
Reiss admitted the reconnection with his former love proved emotionally challenging. "I was in love with Dani, she was the last person I was in love with," he confessed to tabloids. "And when we broke up it wasn't on bad terms. So we started seeing each other for a bit and she wasn't even mad about the MAFS situation."
The Dubai Fallout
The renewed romance proved short-lived when Dani announced her departure to Dubai. Reiss expressed disappointment about her subsequent social media behaviour, stating: "When she got to Dubai, I saw she was putting up posts about me and I was hearing stuff that she was saying. I thought we were good but she's out there saying these hurtful things about me."
The posts referenced by Reiss included Dani sharing a teaser of his MAFS wedding day to Leisha on her Instagram story with the caption: "Don't make me screammmmmm, no comment." Earlier, at August's ITV Reality showcase, Dani had told Closer Online: "I mean, [Reiss] told me he was going travelling, but yeah, he's married, which is great," while confirming she wouldn't be watching his televised relationship unfold.
Contradictory Accounts and Fallout
Dani's representative has since challenged Reiss's version of events, asserting: "Reiss' version of events is very different to the truth. His account is full of untruths."
Meanwhile, ex-wife Leisha responded to the revelations by sharing a news article about the reconciliation on her Instagram stories. She promised to address the situation further, stating: "I'm going to address this last post. As Reiss himself has released a statement admitting he got back with his ex straight after splitting with me, not long after the final vows. Also there is a lot more to the story."
Leisha confirmed she would be conducting interviews and Q+A sessions to share her perspective, adding: "I've had time to process this and as much as I was heartbroken and hurt when I found all this out, I've had my time to heal." She maintained she entered the experiment with "the purest of intentions" seeking a lifelong partner.
Reiss recently expressed relief on Instagram about finally being able to clarify his relationship status, describing it as "a weight lifted off his shoulders." The dramatic love triangle continues to unfold following the MAFS UK 2025 reunion where both Reiss and Leisha initially confirmed their separation.
