MAFS UK's Bailey confirms split from Rebecca

In a devastating turn of events for fans, one of Married At First Sight UK's most beloved couples has called it quits. Bailey, who was paired with Rebecca on the hit E4 show, has publicly confirmed their relationship is over, just days after viewers saw their affectionate reunion on television.

The Heartbreaking Announcement

Taking to Instagram on 16th November 2025, Bailey shared a fresh photograph alongside a lengthy and emotional statement confirming the separation. The father-of-one wrote that making the decision to end things was 'heartbreaking' and not taken lightly.

'Unfortunately it's time to share that Bec and I are no longer together,' he began. 'We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end.'

He was effusive in his praise for his former wife, stating he had 'fallen for Bec completely' and that their time together was a 'true love story'. He expressed that he still has a lot of love for her and is grateful for their shared experience.

Addressing Allegations and Taking Responsibility

In his candid post, Bailey directly confronted what he described as 'false online allegations' that have circulated since the show began airing. He felt compelled to set the record straight in the wake of their break-up.

'I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point,' he stated emphatically. 'I didn't handle our break up well and for that I'm truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship.'

While defending his loyalty, Bailey did admit to his own imperfections and took responsibility for his role in the relationship's demise. 'I'm not perfect, I don't claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn't work,' he wrote.

Struggling with the Aftermath

The reality star revealed the unique pain of watching their romance unfold on screen after the relationship had already ended in real life. He described the experience as 'ridiculously hard' and admitted it was something he was 'still struggling with now'.

Despite the heartache, Bailey maintained a sense of gratitude for the experience, concluding, 'But I wouldn't have changed any of it!'

His statement ended on a poignant note, wishing Rebecca all the best for the future. 'I'm still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will,' he shared, closing this chapter of their MAFS UK journey.
