A 15-year-old girl from Tamworth has been remembered as a 'beautiful young dancer' following her tragic death earlier this week. The teenager, identified only as Madison, was reported missing on Wednesday, May 6, prompting a police search. It was later confirmed that a body had been found.

Police Statement
Staffordshire Police reported that a girl fell from a bridge near Weeford, close to Lichfield, at approximately 10:10 PM on Wednesday. Officers and paramedics provided treatment at the scene, but she died shortly afterward. Her death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner, and a referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to prior police contact with her.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson stated: 'We can sadly confirm a body has been found in the search for missing 15-year-old Madison, from Tamworth. Madison was reported missing yesterday (Wednesday, May 6). Officers were completing extensive searches when a girl fell from a bridge near Weeford at around 10:10 PM. Officers and paramedics treated her at the scene, but she sadly died a short while later. We are not treating the death as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner. Madison's family have been informed and are being supported at this incredibly difficult time. A referral is being made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) given the previous police contact with her.'
