Former service personnel in Middlesbrough can catch up with old friends and enjoy a warm bite to eat at a popular local gathering later this week. The monthly meet-up gives local heroes a chance to chat over food while accessing support from top armed forces charities.
Rapid Growth Forces Move
The relaxed club was set up late last year and has grown so quickly that it will soon need a larger home. Support workers from the local council and national charities are always on hand during the meetings to help anyone who needs extra advice. Organisers say the informal morning chats have proved to be a huge hit with people right across the town.
Local support officer Linda Ford said: "The Community Club has proved so popular we’re having to move to bigger premises. We’re incredibly grateful to Station Suites for ensuring the get-togethers have been such a success, and we look forward to continuing at the Holiday Inn Express later in the year."
Upcoming Sessions and New Venue
Future sessions will take place on Friday, September 4 at the current venue before the group moves to its permanent new location from October onwards.

Cost: Bacon sandwich, tea, and coffee provided
