The search is on for a mystery Birmingham EuroMillions player who has won £365,868.20 but has not yet come forward to claim the prize. The winning ticket was purchased in Birmingham last month, and time is running out for the winner to step forward.
The player matched five numbers plus one lucky star in the EuroMillions draw held on Tuesday, August 25. The winning numbers were 8, 16, 30, 47, and 48, with lucky stars 4 and 9.
Winner urged to check tickets
Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, The National Lottery's operator, is urging anyone who bought a ticket in Birmingham for that draw to check it carefully. He said: "We're encouraging anyone who may have bought a ticket in Birmingham for the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday, August 25, to check their tickets."
Carter added: "Think back to the days leading up to the draw. It was the week before the bank holiday weekend, were you shopping for a last summer getaway when you picked up a ticket? We want to unite this winner with their prize."
He also encouraged people to spread the word: "Tell your friends, ask your family and check with colleagues, someone out there is sitting on a life-changing EuroMillions win and doesn't even know it. This win could be yours."
Deadline and how to claim
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket has until February 21, 2027, to submit a claim. Claims can be made by emailing help@national-lottery.co.uk or by calling the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.
Players who believe they have a genuine claim but no longer have the ticket can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, but this must be done within 30 days of the draw.
If no one comes forward
If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
