Helen Flanagan's Furious Rant at Ex Scott Sinclair Over Missed Nativity Play
Helen Flanagan slams ex Scott Sinclair in sweary rant

Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has launched a scathing attack on her ex-fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair, accusing him of missing their young son's nativity play.

An Instagram Outburst

The drama unfolded on Tuesday evening when Flanagan, 35, took to her Instagram Stories to express her fury. Her anger was directed at Sinclair after he posted a series of photographs from a weekend trip to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. The images showed the racing circuit, drinks with friends, and a yacht, captioned "What a weekend-Abu Dhabi F1".

Helen quickly reshared his post and did not hold back in her criticism. She penned a strongly-worded message alongside a photo of herself and their son, Charlie. "You really are a piece of s*** @scotty_sinclair how dare you not turn up to Charlie's nativity," she wrote, describing Charlie as the 'best boy'.

A Relationship That 'Had Been a Long Time Coming'

The former couple, who were together for 13 years before splitting in 2022, share three children: Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four. Earlier this year, Helen opened up about the end of their relationship, revealing it was her decision after a period of instability.

"Me and Scott really loved each other, but we were always quietly breaking up and then getting back together, so it had been a long time coming," she said. She added that while she would always be sad it didn't work out and they still have love for each other, they are happier apart.

Navigating Co-Parenting After a Split

Flanagan has previously spoken about striving for an amicable relationship with Sinclair for the sake of their children and their mental health. "Break-ups are so sad, and if you can deal with it in a way where you're on good terms, it's better for your mental health and 100% better for the kids," she told The Sun.

However, she candidly admitted that it isn't always easy. "Don't get me wrong, sometimes we still end up telling each other to f**k off!" she confessed. Despite the disagreements, she noted they have managed to keep things civil, aided by the fact their families get along.

The actress, who appeared on Celebs Go Dating, is set to share more about her life and relationships in her forthcoming autobiography, Head and Heart: Break-ups, Breakdowns and Being Rosie, due for release next year. She has promised a tell-all account with "no glossing over or airbrushing" of her experiences.

The Mirror has contacted Scott Sinclair's representatives for comment regarding Helen's allegations.
