Wolves Foundation Sleepout at Molineux Returns for 2026 Charity Event
Molineux Sleepout 2026: Join the Fight Against Homelessness

The Molineux Sleepout is back for 2026, marking its eighth year of raising crucial funds for Wolves Foundation and Good Shepherd. Scheduled for Friday, November 13th, participants will brave the elements and spend the night in the Stan Cullis Stand at Molineux Stadium, showing solidarity with individuals experiencing homelessness and vulnerability across Wolverhampton.

Since its inception, the Molineux Sleepout has generated over £300,000, enabling both charities to deliver essential services and support those facing severe challenges throughout the city.

Event Significance

Kieron Ansell, Head of Business Development at Wolves Foundation, emphasized the event's importance: "The Molineux Sleepout, delivered alongside our colleagues from Good Shepherd, is a key event in our calendar. It not only raises vital funds but also highlights critical issues facing our community."

Ansell added: "We know many across the city are facing tough times, but what makes our community special is the willingness to come together and help each other. This event exemplifies that spirit of selfless generosity, ensuring charities like ours can continue making a positive impact through various projects."

Returning Participants

The event attracts many repeat participants, including sisters Natasha and Neve Bowater, who will join their father John, a Wolves director, for another year. Natasha shared: "We've lived in Wolverhampton all our lives and have been Wolves fans since day one. Our first outfit was a Wolves kit, so we know the city well and feel strongly about giving back, especially in times like these."

She continued: "What's powerful about the Sleepout is seeing the community unite, hearing inspirational stories, and holding onto hope. That's what keeps us coming back."

Partnership Perspective

Tom Hayden, Chief Executive Officer at Good Shepherd, expressed gratitude: "We are extremely grateful for our partnership with Wolves Foundation and the Molineux Sleepout. Now in its eighth year, the event brings people together to raise awareness and vital funds for both charities, including our street homeless outreach and support services."

Hayden added: "Year after year, we are inspired by participants' commitment, and the sleepout feels like its own community."
