The Youth Adventure Trust is organising a special evening guided walk up Pen Y Fan in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) on September 18, 2026, to raise funds for outdoor adventure programmes that support local young people facing challenges in their daily lives.
Event Details and Timings
Participants will set off at 5:30pm, enjoying sunset views from the summit before descending through the International Dark Sky Reserve under a starlit night sky. The twilight journey is suitable for all ability levels, according to the charity. Walkers will reach the summit at dusk and share hot chocolate together before the descent.
The cost is £50 for a self-funded place, or £10 entry fee with a £100 fundraising target. Under 18s go free when accompanied by a registered adult.
