Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) alumni have secured key roles in the upcoming ITVX drama 'Cadbury,' set in 1860s Birmingham. The production follows the story of the Cadbury family and the creation of the iconic chocolate brand.

Several BOA graduates are featured in the drama, including actor Tom Sweet, who plays the young George Cadbury. Sweet, a former BOA student, expressed excitement about portraying such a historic figure. "It's an honour to bring George Cadbury to life, especially knowing his impact on Birmingham and the chocolate industry," he said.
Other alumni involved include Emma D'Arcy, who plays a fictional factory worker, and James Norton, who appears as Richard Cadbury. The casting director praised BOA for producing talented actors.
