New Bullring shop Harli and Harpa opens as UK first

Harli and Harpa, an Australian jewellery brand, has opened its first UK store in Birmingham's Bullring, marking a significant addition to the shopping centre's retail lineup. The shop, located on the ground floor where Claire's Accessories previously operated, welcomed its first customers on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Store location and launch details

Situated between Subdued and H Samuel, just two doors up from Lovisa, the new store offers an affordable range of jewellery. The brand, founded in Australia, was created by former Lovisa CEO Shane Fallscheer. To celebrate the launch, shoppers were treated to complimentary coffee and freebies. The first 150 customers who signed up to the Harli and Harpa rewards programme upon their first purchase received special gifts from the makers of 'waterproof, sweatproof and lifeproof' jewellery.

Context and other new arrivals

The opening comes weeks after Claire's Accessories closed on the Bullring's ground floor. Harli and Harpa announced its arrival by putting up branded hoarding in the same week Lovisa relaunched in the Bullring after relocating from another unit. Lovisa, which also sells affordable jewellery, had been closed for months. The new brand joins other recent additions to the shopping centre, including New Balance on the upper level.
