Taylor Swift breaks silence to praise Phoebe Bridgers' album

Taylor Swift has broken her social media silence to publicly support her friend Phoebe Bridgers, praising the singer's new album in a heartfelt Instagram post. The message comes after Swift remained largely absent from social media and public life since her wedding to Travis Kelce on July 3rd, 2026.

A Birthday Tribute and Album Praise

Taking to Instagram, Swift wrote: "It's her birthday but she gave us a gift - haven't been able to stop listening." She continued: "This album is an absolute triumph in every way. To write about grief with such vulnerability and detail, and to trust the listener with this much honesty. Happy Bday @phoebebridgers I love you!!"

The post marks Swift's first social media activity since her wedding, breaking weeks of silence. Apart from attending a close friend's nuptials a week after her own wedding, the new bride had stayed out of the public eye.

Travis Kelce's Return to Training

While Swift has kept a low profile, her husband Travis Kelce returned to training with the Kansas City Chiefs last week. During the session, he spoke about his wedding day, calling it the "best night" of his life. He described it as a day "full of a lot of celebration" and added: "It was kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there."

Kelce described his summer as a fun "off season" but admitted he was happy to return to training. Fans are now hoping that Swift will also make a more permanent return to public life soon.
