Music lovers in Melton Mowbray are invited to enjoy a summer of free community events alongside a major charity music all-dayer this September.
Soulshine Summer Socials
The Soulshine Summer Socials will bring community spirit, resident DJs, and feel-good music to local green spaces. The free events are being hosted by McCue The Music at the Event Village in Play Close Park.
The first park social will take place on June 13, 2026, running from 12pm until 8pm. Two further free events are scheduled for July 4, 2026, and August 1, 2026. These family-friendly gatherings aim to bring great vibes to the heart of the local area.
Soulshine All-Dayer Fundraiser
The events are taking place ahead of a major ticketed music fundraiser scheduled for later in the year. The Soulshine All-Dayer will be held at The Harboro Hotel Garden Lounge on September 12, 2026. Running from 12pm to 12am, the special event features 12 hours of soul, house, and feel-good music. The daytime portion of the hotel event is completely open to families until 8pm.
The big fundraiser will be headlined by special guests Sean McCabe and Natasha Watts, alongside resident selectors. A percentage of all ticket sales from the September event will be proudly donated directly to Dementia UK.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Organisers are also actively looking to partner with local Leicestershire businesses for sponsorship. The initiative is described as a fantastic opportunity for brands to gain visibility while supporting a great cause.
