Lincolnshire Show 2026 Set to Showcase Food, Farming, and Countryside

The countdown has officially begun for the 141st Lincolnshire Show, one of the county's most significant and eagerly awaited annual events. Scheduled for June 17 and 18, 2026, this two-day extravaganza will take place at the Lincolnshire Showground, promising an action-packed lineup of brand-new features and beloved returning favorites.

New and Returning Attractions for an Unforgettable Experience

Hosted by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS), a registered charity dedicated to public education on food, farming, and the countryside, the Show will introduce several thrilling new attractions. Among these is the Dart Chukka Polo Display, a fast-paced sporting spectacle in the Main Ring that allows visitors to witness the skill and precision of riders and ponies up close. Additionally, the Squibb Freestyle FMX Show will deliver high-energy motocross stunts and impressive aerial tricks, sure to captivate audiences.

Familiar favorites making a comeback include Hawkeye Falconry, the Shetland Pony Grand National, and the Shire Horse of the Year Qualifier. The popular Lincolnshire Kitchen, hosted by celebrity chef Rachel Green, will return to highlight local produce and culinary talent. Also back by popular demand is the Lincolnshire Show Beach, offering a seaside escape within the Showground for relaxation and summer fun.

A Deep-Rooted Focus on Agriculture and Education

With Lincolnshire home to over 4,500 farms, the Show remains firmly rooted in its agricultural heritage. It features around 2,500 animals on display and 500 exhibitors, celebrating the best of country life through educational activities, arts and crafts, extreme sports, and feats of strength. Funds raised from ticket sales are reinvested into the LAS's charity work, including the LAS Education Programme, ensuring the Show's sustainability and impact.

Charlotte Powell, CEO of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, expressed excitement about the upcoming event. "The Lincolnshire Show is the flagship event for our county, and we're incredibly excited to be back for the 141st Show in June," she said. "We're shaping a Show that celebrates tradition while evolving for future generations, with highlights like the Rural Voices Stage, Garden Show, and Britain's Fittest Farmer qualifiers by Farmer's Weekly."

Engaging the Community and Looking Ahead

Education remains a core focus, with local schools invited to participate in the LAS Schools' Challenge, competing across 10 categories to learn about food, farming, and the countryside. The event typically draws over 62,000 visitors annually, including 6,000 school children, making it a family-friendly day out. The 2026 edition also marks a new chapter with the appointment of James Matthews as Show Director, who will oversee the event's continued growth.

Advanced tickets are now available, priced at £28 for adults, £10 for children (under 3s free), and £70 for a family (two adults and up to three children). Visitors are encouraged to book in advance to secure these prices and reduce waiting times on the day. For the latest updates, follow the Show on social media platforms.
