North East Dog Festival returns to Kirkley Hall for 11th year

The North East Dog Festival is returning to Kirkley Hall for a weekend of canine celebrations. Families and dog lovers can enjoy arena displays, free training classes, and more than 150 trade stands.

Visitors can take part in activities like agility, flyball, and hoopers with their dogs. The event also features expert talks on canine health alongside charity dog shows.

11th Year Celebration

The event marks the 11th year of the popular regional celebration. Festival directors expressed their excitement for welcoming thousands of visitors back.

Festival directors Rebecca Ashworth Earle and Dawn Oliver Doyle, said: "It is difficult to believe we are already in our 11th year."

They added: "What started as a small idea has grown into one of the biggest celebrations of dogs in the North, and we never take for granted that thousands of people choose to spend their day—or their whole weekend—with us."
