The BBC has opened casting for a new series of The Travelling Auctioneers, a daytime programme that first aired in 2022. Birmingham residents are invited to apply to have their family heirlooms, curious collections, and cherished belongings assessed by expert auctioneers and restorers.

Filming for the upcoming run will take place throughout the summer and into October 2026. Successful applicants from across the country will receive help from well-known auctioneers such as Bee Harford, Izzie Balmer, and JB Broad, alongside restorers JJ Chalmers, Lauren Wood, and Robin Johnson. In each episode, viewers witness the stories behind the possessions, celebrating memories and family histories.
The production team is particularly interested in individuals who are relocating or downsizing, sorting through inherited possessions, or living with collections that have expanded over the years. They also want to hear from those intrigued by unusual antiques, looking to restore items before auction, or simply seeking a fresh start.
