YouTube sensation Angry Ginge has made a defiant declaration on I'm A Celebrity, vowing that his campmates 'will not break me' after being assigned extra chores under new leadership.
New Camp Leaders Take Charge
Former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty was elected as camp leader during Saturday night's episode, with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley appointed as her deputy. The soap stars immediately began organising their celebrity campmates, with Ginge receiving more than his fair share of responsibilities.
The content creator, who had already been placed on washing up duty, appeared taken aback when Shona addressed the group about 'dunny duty' - the camp's term for toilet cleaning. "Moving on to our favourite one, dunny duty," Shona announced, adding pointedly: "We've taken a lot of s**t from this guy, and it's time he takes ours."
Double Duty for Ginge
Lisa Riley reinforced the decision, explaining to Ginge: "Yes, so someone had to have two jobs." This left the YouTube star with both washing up and toilet cleaning duties, a combination that tested his resilience in the Australian jungle.
Later, in the privacy of the Bush Telegraph, Ginge made his determined stance clear. "Newly assigned chores, washing up and dunny duty," he stated. "They will not break me, they will not break me."
Camp Dynamics Continue
The chore assignments led to further interactions between Ginge and the new camp leadership. When Lisa handed him cleaning equipment for the leaders' bedroom, she told him: "Come on, from one duty to the new one, there you go, because I know how it feels now."
Ginge responded with characteristic wit: "Congratulations, Lisa. There's no one I'd rather hand this role over to than you Lisa, well done."
Lisa later explained her approach in the Bush Telegraph, saying: "I want to help my lady as much as I can and support her in her reign by keeping my predecessor, that there Ginge, very much in check."
