A Diverse Collection of Photographic Art

The exhibition is thoughtfully curated into four distinct categories, offering something for every artistic taste. The largest section is dedicated to wildlife photography, featuring stunning shots of animals and nature. This is complemented by a compelling people and portraits category, which captures human emotion and character. Additionally, the buildings and industrial category presents architectural and urban scenes, while the landscapes and scenes section showcases picturesque views and environmental compositions.

Inclusive Community of Photographers

The Guildford u3a photography group prides itself on being an inclusive community that welcomes photographers of all skill levels. Membership ranges from complete beginners who use smartphones to capture their first images, through to highly accomplished photographers equipped with advanced professional gear. This diversity enriches the group's dynamic and the exhibition's variety.

The group holds friendly monthly meetings, which typically attract between 30 to 40 enthusiastic members. These gatherings provide a supportive environment for sharing tips, discussing techniques, and fostering a shared passion for photography.

Leader's Gratitude and Opportunity

Group leader Jonathan Long expressed his appreciation for the venue, stating: “We are very grateful to Art & Grind for facilitating our exhibition. It is a great opportunity for our members to display their work to a wider audience.” This collaboration highlights the cafe's commitment to supporting local arts and providing a platform for community creativity.
