Bolton Cancer Voices 14th Birthday Summer Concert

An inspirational local choir is preparing to celebrate its 14th birthday with a spectacular summer concert next week. The special anniversary performance will take place on Friday, June 19, at Harwood Methodist Church in Bolton, starting at 7.15pm.

Farewell to Musical Director

The event will also serve as a final farewell to their current musical director, Katie Geelan, who is stepping down after leading the group for almost three years.

Special Guests

A 14-strong saxophone choir called Midweek Sax will perform alongside the group to help mark the occasion. The audience will also be entertained by Dr Kevin Jones, widely known as Britain's funniest doctor.

Karen Elliott from the choir said: “We really hope people will come along and help us celebrate: it's hard to believe our remarkable story started 14 years ago! We love what we do, why we do it and the way in which we do it and clearly we're doing something right. Bolton Cancer Voices is really something very special and we like nothing better than the opportunity to entertain an audience; so please do come and join us for a great night out.”
