The Disney Store has confirmed it will open at Birmingham Bullring on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, with a key ceremony and exclusive offers for early shoppers. The permanent shop, located within Selfridges, replaces the successful festive pop-up that operated last Christmas.
Opening Details and Special Offers
The new store promises an 'immersive shopping experience' featuring products from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and classic Disney. Collectors can expect the return of the Selfridges exclusive Disney plush collection, including a bright yellow Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh, which sold out during the festive period.
On opening weekend, Selfridges Unlocked shoppers who spend £50 or more will receive a free Disney and Pixar Toy Story Lotso plush keyring mystery box, while stocks last. The store will also sell clothes, accessories, collectibles, dress-up collections, and stationery.

A Disney Store Key Ceremony is planned for the opening. Patrick Sager, global general manager and vice president of retail marketing at Disney Store, said: "We're thrilled to finally be able to share the opening date for our new Birmingham store at Selfridges Birmingham and begin the countdown to welcoming guests through the doors on July 29."

Store Location and Hours
The store is inside Selfridges at the Bullring. Selfridges is open daily from 10am, with weekday closing at 8pm, Saturdays from 9:30am to 9pm, and Sundays from 11am to 5:30pm.
