The Nottinghamshire town of Stapleford is preparing to beat the winter blues with a vibrant programme of free Friday night entertainment. Friday18, a successful series of live music events, is launching a special winter edition across the town's pubs and clubs.
Weekly Line-Up of Local Talent
The festivities commence on Friday, January 30 and will run every week until Friday, March 6. Each event starts at 6pm, offering an hour of live performance to provide the perfect start to the weekend. The schedule is packed with diverse musical acts:
- January 30: SPAM kicks things off at Larry's Bar with a set of high-energy punk, new wave, and classic hits.
- February 6: Verbal Warning takes to the stage at The Old Cross.
- February 13: James Stevens performs at the Stapleford and Bramcote Conservative Club.
- February 20: Trevor Pringle entertains at The Midland Hotel.
- February 27: Ben Mark Smith plays at The Lead & Dot Micropub.
- March 6: Joshua Todd closes the series at the West End Club.
