Greggs is offering a free Pumpkin Spice Latte to customers who download its app as new users, coinciding with the launch of its autumn menu on September 3. The bakery chain, which operates shops in Birmingham, is bringing back the seasonal drink for another year, and new app joiners will receive a free hot or seasonal drink reward to redeem.
What’s in the Pumpkin Spice Latte?
Greggs describes the drink as “made with freshly ground Fairtrade coffee, semi-skimmed milk and pumpkin spice flavour syrup with sugar and sweetener, topped with cream and finished with a salted caramel flavour drizzle.” The offer is available this week, and customers can take advantage of it by downloading the Greggs app.
New Autumn Menu Items
Alongside the returning Pumpkin Spice Latte, Greggs is introducing several new food items. The Buffalo Chicken Baguette is described by the company as “packed into a freshly baked baguette, it’s filled with buffalo style chicken mayonnaise, Mature Cheddar cheese and red onion.” Greggs adds, “We’re putting in our application to be the official wingman of buffalo sauce, and frankly, this might just be the one for you. Hot, dependable, fresh on the market and the talk of the table – it’s the dream lunch date that you can’t wait to tell your friends about.”
The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is also new, built on a classic focaccia style base with cheese and pizza sauce, then finished with buffalo style chicken mayonnaise and red onion. Greggs suggests, “Pick up a slice or go for a whole box when sharing is on the cards. Or, when sharing was on the cards. These things happen.”
Pepperoni Pizza Toastie and Availability
Another addition is the Pepperoni Pizza Toastie, which comes with pizza style sauce, Mature Cheddar cheese and pepperoni sandwiched between white bread made with sourdough, topped with béchamel sauce and grated mixed cheese. The bakery chain said, “With something this tasty, there’s no way you’re leaving the crusts.”
The free drink offer applies to new users of the Greggs app, and the seasonal menu launches on September 3. Customers in Birmingham and elsewhere can redeem the reward as part of the promotion, which is available for a limited time this week.
